Events

The Virginia Mason Foundation holds four major fundraising events each year to benefit patients and programs at Virginia Mason, Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason, and Bailey-Boushay House. These events are made possible by thousands of generous donors and volunteers from our community, and help raise support, educate and inspire participants.

Dreambuilders

The 30th annual Dreambuilders event benefited the Floyd & Delores Jones Cancer Institute at Virginia Mason. The virtual event was a success in supporting our cancer care program, our staff and our patients. Watch the 2021 program »

Boeing Classic
August 16 – 22, 2021 – The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge
The Boeing Classic is an official event on the PGA TOUR Champions, which features the legends of golf 50 years of age or older. Scott Parel is the defending 2016 Champion after a victory at the 14th Annual Tournament, which featured 85,000 spectators and was supported by approximately 1,000 volunteers. Since inception of this event, more than $8 million has been raised for the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason, the Heart Institute at Virginia Mason Medical Center, and additional Greater Seattle Charities. Swirl

Swirl benefits Bailey-Boushay House (BBH), an organization that supports and cares for those living with HIV/AIDS, as well as other life long illnesses including ALS. The evening gala event showcases Bailey-Boushay House’s accomplishments and goals. During the 2021 event, we heard from Brian Knowles, Director of BBH, on how they created an on-demand food ordering system to better care for our clients experiencing food insecurity. Watch the 2021 program >>

Illuminations Luncheon

The Illuminations Luncheon supports Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason (BRI). BRI does groundbreaking research into the immune system and immune system related diseases. The 2021 virtual event was a success and featured a research showcase, a message from Dr. Jane Buckner, and a story of one family that has been supporting BRI's research for 13 years. Watch the 2021 program »
