Helping BBH Clients Transition Out of Homelessness

In November 2018, Bailey-Boushay House (BBH) opened a 50-bed emergency homeless shelter to provide a safe place for some of their most vulnerable clients. But their goal is bigger than supplying temporary shelter: BBH is helping these clients transition to permanent housing.

This process isn’t easy. That’s why BBH offers them additional services, including chemical dependency counseling, support in working with landlords, and help with managing bills.

Thanks to generous donors, BBH gives each client a “new housing kit,” full of things that make a house a home. This can include everything from a new bed to pots, pans and cleaning supplies.

BBH has already helped more than 45 community members move into permanent housing. See how this program impacts our community: https://vimeo.com/355162209/38a96a3b5d
