Today and every day, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) physicians sit with their patients, listen with compassion and diagnose with precision and expertise.
VMFH doctors in every clinic and hospital throughout the Puget Sound region meet patients where they are to deliver the highest quality, most compassionate care. And on March 30, patients inundated our doctors with notes thanking them for their care and the kindhearted support they provide – especially during their most vulnerable health care experiences.
This year, over 850 patients sent notes of gratitude for life-changing care and made gifts totaling more than $90,000 to honor their doctors. In the 13 years VMFH has been celebrating Doctors’ Day, over 7,800 patients have donated more than $885,000 to the health system supporting various programs, departments and services.
This year, patients sent along notes of gratitude to their providers for their expertise and their humanity. Notes from grateful patients included:
“Dr. Iandine Paras, we are blessed to have you as our primary care physician. Thank you for all you do for us and for all of your patients.”
“Dr. Anastasia Fyntrilakis, thank you for all you do for us. You treat us with dignity and kindness.”
“Dr. Brown, Dr. Shalini Kanneganti and all the internists and RNs at Franciscan Surgical Associates, thank you for your dedication, skills and healing practices. I am grateful you’ve been part of my care team!”
Doctors’ Day holds a special place in the hearts of our providers and renews their commitment to the patients they serve. Our patients’ gratitude for their providers and our entire medical team is our true honor.
Thank you to all of our patients for trusting us with their health and well-being.
